We were getting ready to go to Masons for dinner and I was sitting at the kitchen bench painting my nails (as you do) and Luke came over and said “Wait before you do that  make sure the color will go with this" He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.

Tell us about the marriage proposal

Ewen got down on one knee the night before my 28th birthday. We had been together almost 8 years then but it still came as a big surprise!

How did you choose the venue:

We pretty much decided this the night we got engaged – we wanted to get married at Sandy Creek Park which is my parents property. We never actually even looked at any other venues we didn’t need to.

Tell us about the marriage proposal

I had never been on a plane before and I had a voucher for a scenic flight over Bendigo as a birthday gift from one of my bridesmaids. Very nervously 9 months later, Brad, our son Kurt & myself finally went on the flight. Brad took this opportunity to write "MARRY ME SAZ" in a paddock on his parents property in massive letters using lime. Mind you we had to fly over it 3 times before I'd...

What was you styling inspiration for the day:

Pink in my favourite colour and when I saw hot pink Manolo Blahnik stilettos they set the theme. Hot pink, black and bling. We have been nick named “Mickey and Minnie” so that also was included. My clutch was a gift from Michael from Disneyland along with the figurines on the lolly buffet. By coincidence we were married on Mickey mouse’s 90th Birthday.

Tell us about the marriage proposal:

Dions’ proposal was very romantic without him even thinking it was! It was our three year anniversary, we went out for dinner to Masons and then to the movies. About 11pm Dion wanted to take me to our block where we were building our first home together. He said the bricks had arrived and we should go look (I was very gullible!!). Once there, we had a quick look around, it was freezing so...
